Cars 2
10th November 2011 - Racing, conspiracies and environmental issues, wrapped in action filled animation, constitutes the main ingredients of ”Cars 2”. The film is entertaining, but the story is not as good as we’ve come to expect from Pixar.

Mr Popper’s Penguins
26th August 2011 - Mr Popper, an ambitious businessman, gets the chance to reunite with his family when he inherits six penguins. This is a poor comedy; still, it offers decent entertainment for younger children.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
30th June 2011 - Sam and the Autobots are facing their toughest battle in this spectacular, well made, yet quite unoriginal action film.
Kung Fu Panda 2
30th June 2011 - Excitement and spectacular battle scenes are aplenty as, Po, the Dragon Warrior, has to save China from an evil villain. Unfortunately, all the action almost completely drowns out the story.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
30th June 2011 - Jack Sparrow is back in an action-filled adventure that offers little new compared to the previous films. Be aware that the film contains some scenes that may frighten children.
Thor
10th June 2011 - The myth of Thor, the god of thunder, has been made into an epic, well made and highly enjoyable film.
Red Riding Hood
20th April 2011 - Little Red Riding Hood has become a young, beautiful woman, and is caught in the middle of a dangerous adventure when a werewolf threatens to destroy her village. The screenplay is poor, but young people might still enjoy this film.
Justin Bieber: Never say Never
19th April 2011 - Justin Bieber sold out Madison Square Garden in 22 minutes. This film consists of the story of Bieber’s childhood, a documentation of the days before the giant concert, and footage from the concert itself.
Alpha and Omega
19th April 2011 - "Alpha and Omega" provides decent entertainment, but is by no means innovative.
I am Number Four
19th April 2011 - Fantasy is a popular genre nowadays, and this film clearly aims to be the starting point a new science fiction saga. The result isn’t hopeless; though, the film is unoriginal and easily forgettable.
Gnomeo & Juliet
18th April 2011 - With a better screenplay, ”Gnomeo & Juliet” could have been a great film; however, despite its great graphics and exciting concept, this is a mediocre film.
Scream 4
18th April 2011 - Everybody’s a suspect. Anyone can be the next victim. These are the rules that apply in ”Scream 4”, a film that offers decent horror entertainment; still, it’s nowhere near as good as the classic first film. This film is not suitable for anyone under the age of 15.
Rango
13th April 2011 - This original and entertaining film uses the potential of computer animation in an excellent way. Still, be aware that this is no film for children under the age of eight.
Rio
7th April 2011 - In wonderful Rio, Blu experiences the adventure of a lifetime. This is a charming and fun film, suitable for the whole family.
Just go with it
7th April 2011 - In this ridiculous film, Danny, a plastic surgeon, gets caught in a web of lies when he tries to “get lucky” with a young woman.
Hop
1st April 2011 - Due to poor actors and a mediocre story, we can’t recommend this film, even though it offers decent entertainment for children.
Gulliver’s Travels
25th February 2011 - Just when you think this film possibly can’t get any worse – it does, which is quite amusing.
Tangled
25th February 2011 - Disney’s version of the story of Rapunzel is a beautifully made film, which has been given a nice modern twist. This excellent adventure comes highly recommended.
Yogi Bear
10th February 2011 - Yogi Bear is back in an entertaining, but quite cliché filled comedy.
Easy A
26th January 2011 - Olive likes the attention when a false rumour about her sexual behaviour spreads through her school. She seizes the opportunity to raise her social status, but as the rumours get worse complications arise. This is an entertaining comedy, although the quality is not the best.
Megamind
12th January 2011 - The ingenious plans of the super villain Megamind, usually go wrong, and when he creates a new superhero, catastrophe ensues. This film provides excellent entertainment, and it is well suited for school-age children.
Arthur and the Great Adventure
12th January 2011 - Arthur returns to the land of the Minimoys, only to discover that the evil Maltazard has made a vicious trap for him. This is good entertainment, but the story is too thin.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
11th January 2011 - Another exciting adventure in the magical land of Narnia awaits. The third film in the popular franchise is well made and offers a great film experience.
Due Date
4th January 2011 - When two very different individuals travel across the US, problems arise as they crash cars, break laws, quarrel and, gradually, become friends. This comedy is quite inappropriate for children, and so-so in terms of quality.
Tron: Legacy
17th December 2010 - Sam Flynn is pulled into a digital world, meets his long lost father and finds himself in the middle of a merciless battle. This high-tech adventure is visually stunning; however, the story seems uninspired.
Fair Game
6th December 2010 - In this well-made drama, we get an insight into how powerful forces in American politics manipulated the truth in order to justify the invasion of Iraq, and how this affected single individuals. The film is based on a true story, and comes highly recommended.
The Other Guys
6th December 2010 - The first 15 minutes of “The Other Guys,” builds an expectation that this might be one of the best action comedies in recent years. However, even though it is a very funny film, the quality drops as the story progresses.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
18th November 2010 - The first part in the final instalment of the Harry Potter saga is an exciting and well-made film. This autumn’s highly anticipated cinema release builds up to a whopping finale next summer.
Jackass 3D
18th November 2010 - The Jackass concept, where a bunch of ‘never-grown-ups’ try to bend or break all limits, is starting to wear thin. The film has an 18 year age limit, and should not be watched by young people.
The Social Network
4th November 2010 - A film about the origins of Facebook. This is an entertaining, interesting and incredibly well-made film.
Despicable Me
20th October 2010 - The story of Gru. The man who wants to be the greatest villain of all. Fun, simple, heartwarming and recommended for the entire family.
Legend of the Guardians - The Owls of Ga'Hoole
14th October 2010 - This animation film has incredible graphics and amazing detail. However, the construction of the story would have benefited from the same attention.
Grown Ups
4th October 2010 - It’s quite remarkable that a film with so many talented actors can be as bad as this.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
30th September 2010 - Scott Pilgrim has to defeat seven evil ex-boyfriends in order to win his dream girl. The film’s universe is a mix of film and video games, and will probably appeal to many video game enthusiasts. However, it’s not really a film for children under the age of 15.
The Last Airbender
23rd September 2010 - It’s not easy being a young boy with exceptional skills who also has a responsibility to restore peace in the world. Apparently, it’s not easy making it into a good film either.
Toy Story 3
2nd September 2010 - Woody, Buzz and all their friends are back in a heart-warming film that offers drama, excitement and lots of humour. If you want a cinematic experience that will delight the whole family, "Toy Story 3" comes highly recommended.
The Karate Kid
2nd September 2010 - Dre has trouble adapting when he and his mother move from Detroit to Beijing. He realises that there is only one thing he can do to gain respect - he must participate in the local Kung Fu competition.
Shrek Forever After
2nd August 2010 - This time it's Shrek’s ego that creates problems in the fairy-tale kingdom of Far, Far Away. This is a surprisingly good film with a great message that is suitable for children from 6 years and above.
StreetDance 3D
7th July 2010 - This film is not much more than a filmed dance contest. But what does that matter, when the dancing and music is so good that you feel like making some dance moves as you leave the cinema?
Furry Vengeance
7th July 2010 - Dan Sanders experiences the wrath of the animal kingdom, when he becomes the supervisor of a project that is going to replace a beautiful nature reserve with a large housing development. This is a funny comedy with an eco-friendly message that is recommended for children from 6 to 12 years of age.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
5th July 2010 - The third film in the immensely popular saga offers drama, suspense and, not least, romance as the story of Bella and her relationship with vampire Edward and werewolf Jake continues. This is a well-made film that will please the fans.
Robin Hood
28th May 2010 - The story of how the legend of Robin Hood was born is an extremely well made, entertaining and intelligent action film, but it lacks that little extra it takes to become a true classic.
The Runaways
28th May 2010 - The rebel queens of the legendary girl band “The Runaways” become rock stars as 15-year-olds with all that entails of ups and downs. This is a fresh drama with lots of good music, but as a biography the film lacks depth.
Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time
28th May 2010 - The heroic prince Dastan must save the Persian Empire in this fast-paced, but oh so ordinary action-adventure, suitable for children from 12 years and older.
The Last Song
27th May 2010 - It’s really quite misleading to think that “The Last Song” is supposed to get teenage girls to think that this is the best film they've seen in a long time. This film doesn’t deserve that honour.
Clash of the Titans
16th April 2010 - Perseus, the demigod son of Zeus, must save humanity when the wrath of the gods strikes down. The high level of action makes this a fun adventure, and it is quite easy to forget how mediocre this film really is. Parents should be aware that the film contains a number of frightening scenes.
How to train your dragon
25th March 2010 - The Vikings on the island of Berk must constantly fight hordes of dragons. Hiccup, a Viking teenager, does not fit in with the others. He will not slay dragons. This is an exciting and at times very dramatic film suitable for children from 9 years.
The Princess and the Frog
19th March 2010 - Disney is back with a new feature-length cartoon. In traditional style this film offers exciting, musical and fun entertainment for the whole family.
Welcome
19th March 2010 - This acclaimed and multi-awarded French movie manages in a brilliant way to create sympathy and understanding of the life situation of illegal immigrants. The film is recommended for everybody over the age of 15, and it is perfect for educational purposes.
Fantastic Mr. Fox
19th March 2010 - This stop-motion animated film is an original and entertaining interpretation of the famous children's book by Roald Dahl. It isn’t a typical family film, and will perhaps have the greatest appeal among adults, but the film is good and is recommended for children from 8 years.
Where the Wild Things are
19th March 2010 - When problems become too big, Max flees into a fantasy land, but it’s not easy to create happiness there either. This film has great depth, and gives excellent insight into a child’s psychology.
Moon
16th March 2010 - Three years alone on a lunar base has led Sam Bell to the brink of madness, and strange events causes him to question his own identity. Sam Rockwell is impressive in the lead role, but the film does not succeed in revealing its surprises in a good way.
Cloudy with a chance of meatballs
16th March 2010 - The young and ambitious Flint Lockwood invents a machine that make it rain food, but when the machine runs wild, he must save the world from a storm of giant meatballs. This is an entertaining film that is recommended for children from 7 years.
Alice in Wonderland
10th March 2010 - When Alice falls down a hole and enters Wonderland, a journey starts that will change her destiny forever. This is a great film version of the classic children’s books, but be aware that the movie contains a few scary sequences.
Planet 51
23rd February 2010 - The life of 16-year-old Lem is turned upside down when the astronaut Chuck lands in his home town on Planet 51. This animation film has a good concept and offers decent entertainment, but the story is full of clichés and poor dialogue.
Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief
17th February 2010 - Ancient Greek gods are very alive, the hero is young and beautiful, and the assistant is his beautiful and divine friend. The movie is beautifully shot, however, the first film about Percy Jackson isn’t convincing.
Ponyo
11th February 2010 - The magical and cute goldfish princess Ponyo longs to be human. This is an imaginative and great film which is recommended for children from 6 years.
Avatar
19th December 2009 - This magnificent science-fiction adventure is visually spectacular. Unfortunately, the story is not on the same level. Nevertheless, the film is good entertainment, and it is recommended for children from 12 years of age.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon
19th November 2009 - It´s time for a new chapter in the Twilight-saga, and this time a broken heart causes the drama. This is the autumn’s movie hit for teenage girls, and they most likely won’t leave the cinemas disappointed.
Fame
6th November 2009 - The musical from New York High School of the Performing Arts will probably achieve high numbers at the box office, with factors like music, dance, gorgeous boys and girls and big dreams. But the movie won't live forever.
Up
6th November 2009 - The 78-year old Carl Fredricksen attaches thousands of balloons to his house and flies to South America to fulfil his lifelong dream. "Up" is a brilliant film, which continues to surprise with exquisite story telling, wonderful humour and fun characters.
Ben X
6th November 2009 - "To get people to react, for a change to happen, someone always has to die first" states Ben's mother in the opening scene of this Dutch movie, which tackles important problems like digital bullying and suicide.
G-Force
6th November 2009 - A group of specially trained rodents put highly advanced technology into use in their attempt to save the world. It may sound fun, but this is a very poor film, which is full of clichés.
Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince
6th November 2009 - This is the sixth Harry Potter movie, and gives you top class entertainment and excitement. Even so, parents should be aware that it's quite scary, and that it's not suitable for children under the age of twelve.
Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
6th November 2009 - The third Ice Age movie has more action, more adventure, more relationship trouble (there has to be when Sid is present) and more characters. Even though this means there is less space for the excellent plot and the well-known characters...
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
6th November 2009 - Sam, Mikaela and the Autobots have to save the Earth once again when the evil Decepticons return. This is an entertaining action adventure, but the movie contains many violent scenes and is not suitable for children under twelve.

Bob the Builder: Race to the finish
6th November 2009 - Bob the Builder is assigned to build Sunflower Valley's new sports stadium, but it soon turns out to be easier said than done. This is a nice and educational movie for the youngest children.

6th November 2009 - Did you think Neil Armstrong and his men were alone when they landed on the moon in 1969? In this animation movie three flies, hungry for adventure, accompany them.
Night at the Museum 2
