Ratchet and Clank are back in a thrilling game, in which the multiplayer mode is the big news.

Ratchet & Clank is a massively successful and popular franchise, and should be well known to PlayStation 3 owners. The games have so far been about guiding our heroes single-handedly through perilous adventures, fighting the evil doctor Nefarios and captain Qwark. This time, however, all the characters team up, after having gotten themselves in a predicament they all need to work together to get out of.

The Ratchet & Clank franchise has always been known to appeal to several age groups, and this is also the case with the new release. The game offers a great, imaginative gaming world, filled with fun and clever creatures. The story is hilarious, the controls are simple and the level of difficulty is varied and appropriate for children and young people alike.

You get hooked on the game from the very start, and the multiplayer mode works very well indeed. All the players appear on the same screen, and not split in four, which would have been a bit small, even on the large TV screens of today. It’s easy to jump in and out of the game, and no one has to wait their turn. If you play alone, the game can become a bit boring; still, you can always log on to the PlayStation Network and play online with other players.

Ratchet & Clank are popular characters, and in this well made and entertaining game, they provide heaps of fun for the entire family.
