FIFA Street
02.05.2012
FIFA Street offers football fun for fans and new players in a game suitable for the entire family.
For several years, the FIFA franchise has been associated with the highest possible level of realism, while the Fifa Street games have offered a caricature-ish mix of ball juggling and kick-ups in an urban setting.
In “Fifa Street”, you can play single matches or participate in tournaments both on football fields and in the streets. As you play, you’ll develop and improve your team, which gives the game a sense of purpose and you get a goal to work towards. In contrast to the FIFA games, which are based on real teams and players, a real sense of connection arises between you and your players, as you develop their skills and learn how to use these skills in matches.
Up to seven players can join in, and you can play on the same team or as opponents. The multiplayer mode is one of the game’s finest features, and provides a lot of entertainment for the entire family or a group of friends. “Fifa Street” can be played online on the PlayStation Network.
This, the 4th release in the Fifa Street franchise, has some new features to it. The game engine is still the same that serves as the basis for the FIFA games, which provides realism and some skills are required to master the gameplay. At the same time, the game is no longer as cartoon-like as it used to be; still, the ball juggling, dribbling, wrestling and the occasional brute are still kept. The graphics and the game’s functionalities are more realistic, and, all in all, “Fifa Street” offers an improved gaming experience.
Even though some of the game’s features aren’t as good as in the FIFA franchise, “Fifa Street” is a family friendly and fun game that we award with our stamp of recommendation.
Child suitability:
The game has no disturbing or unsuitable content for children.
