The Nintendo classic, Donkey Kong Country, returns in a great game for children and adults alike.
Once again, Nintendo has made a great and fascinating platform game. Join the apes for a jungle adventure and collect stolen bananas. But, beware; a number of dangers and adventures lurks as you make your way through the wilderness!
“Donkey Kong Country Returns,” is the sequel to a classic Nintendo game. In this game, a Tiki God has the audacity to hypnotise the animals on Kong’s island, and make them steal Donkey Kong’s bananas. With the help of Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong embarks on an adventure to retrieve the bananas. It is your task to gather bananas, coins and puzzle pieces on the different levelsThroughout the game, you travel through different worlds. There are a number of challenges that needs to be solved in order to progress in the game, such as jump over stuff, duck under things, catch balloons and avoid running into your opponents.
The game is made in a 3D format, the colours are bright and the music brings back memories of the great Donkey Kong tunes known from the classic games.
For adults, ”Donkey Kong Country Returns,” brings back memories of the classic 1994 “Donkey Kong Country” game. At the same time, the game has a great deal to offer children and young people who enjoy platform and adventure games.
Child suitability:
The motion control function isn’t always accurate, still; the playability is more than good enough to satisfy new and experienced players alike.
The graphics are great; bright and with vivid colours. As well as this, the different challenges and visual impressions are child friendly in every way.
You have the opportunity to play alone, or, you can play with a friend, which is also a lot of fun.
The game is only available on Nintendo Wii.

3-6 years: Some of the challenges might be difficult for the youngest, and, on occasion, it can be a bit tricky to figure out where you are supposed to go. However, if children have some gaming experience, a bit of patience or get help from an adult, they will be able to play this game just fine. As you progress in the game, the level of difficulty significantly increases.
