This action game is largely about killing and destruction, and should not be played by children under the age of 16.

You’re the mining engineer Alec Mason, who is coming to Mars in a desperate search for work as the Earth is on the verge of financial collapse. The Earth Defence Force (EDF) is ruling the red planet, and has forced Martian society into a permanent state of unfree labour. After you arrive you are reunited with your brother Dan, who has been living on Mars for quite a while. You join him for an illegal scheme to make some money, but you are caught and Dan is executed. Later you are suspected to be a part of a group of terrorists that fight against the EDF, which eventually leads you to actually join this group. And then the battle really gets going.

This is an action filled game where you are fighting soldiers and blowing up different constructions. The graphics are very good, and provide a credible image of how Mars may look.

Child suitability:
This game is about killing and destruction. The story is too advanced for children, but the game itself isn’t among the most difficult. The 16 year age limit is appropriate, and the game should not be played by anyone under this age.

Score: 2

Suggested age: Not suitable for children under the age of 16.

PEGI: 16, violence, online

Format: PC, Xbox360, PlayStation 3
