Set your mind to thinking mode and get ready to play detective in a game which is suitable for children from five years of age.

In “Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force” you take on the role as penguin detective, and solve many mysteries. As you start, you can choose what colour you want for your penguin, and pick a name. Then it’s straight off to penguin land to solve mysteries. Your first case is to find the owner of a small blue animal. While you search, new cases to solve appear all the time, amongst other things code words and secret places to find. All the missions are simple enough for the youngest to understand. It is suitably challenging for a five-year old, but for older kids it might get a bit too easy. All the missions are explained through text. There is quite a lot of text, but with a little help from someone who can read it’s not a big problem. Most missions are about breaking codes or finding objects. Sometimes the missions resemble each other a bit too much, but it doesn’t happen too often. The game is varied, and there are a lot of mini-games. These mini-games are fun and addictive. You can, for example, collect coins whilst driving a snowplough, skydiving or riding a snowboard. In all the mini-games you collect gold coins. The coins are used to buy new items for your penguin online. You can also make your own profile for free on a webpage, and you can play with other people from all over the world. The game’s world is colourful and nice. There is only cartoon graphics, but it is very good. The drawings of snowy landscapes, cities and animals are spectacular. The music is cool too. There’s everything from exciting “secret agent music” to wonderful rhythmic wintry tunes that create a good ambience.

Child suitability:
“Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force” is a fun and challenging game. You have to concentrate to solve the mysteries and complete all the mini-games. For the very youngest it can be a little difficult to understand what to do, as you have to read a lot. It might be a good idea to get some help from someone who can read the most difficult missions, where you for example have to solve anagrams. The game has no inappropriate elements and is suitable for children from five years of age.
